Frequently asked questions
How are fees calculated?
Infidelity investigations average ₩1.1 to 1.3 million per day; other matters are quoted after consultation. The agreed fee and any conditions for additional costs are written into the contract before work begins.
How long does an investigation take?
From one day to several weeks, depending on the facts to be established. We give an estimate at the consultation and record it in the contract.
Is private investigation legal in Korea?
Yes. Since the amended Credit Information Act took effect in August 2020, the title “detective” and detective work have been permitted. We use only methods the law allows and decline any engagement that would require otherwise.
Can the findings be used in litigation?
Our reports contain only lawfully established facts, so they can be submitted in proceedings. Admissibility is for the court to decide; where needed, we coordinate with partner law firms to support your case.
How is my consultation kept confidential?
Only the assigned investigator handles it, and every member of staff signs a confidentiality pledge. Case files are stored encrypted and permanently deleted after the final report.
Do you take cases outside Seoul or abroad?
We offer on-site consultations anywhere in Korea. For overseas matters, we first explain what local law permits and the expected timeline.
Do you sign a contract?
Yes. Scope, methods, timeline, fees and reporting are fixed in a written contract before any work begins.
Is there a refund if I stop midway?
Fees for work not yet started are returned according to the terms in the contract, which we explain before you sign.
How can I consult you?
By phone, KakaoTalk, Telegram or in person. You may simply consult, and that consultation is kept confidential on the same terms.
What is the office's background?
Since opening in 2018 we have taken on 2,183 cases, and we have cooperation agreements with about ten law firms for litigation support. We also appeared on Channel A's “Detectives’ Trade Secrets”.
